GOLOWAN FESTIVAL IS HERE !

This last few days Penzance has been buzzing with visitors from all over the world who come especially at this time of year to visit the famous Golowan Festival.

Festooned with banners, flags, pirates and piscies Penzance is a cornucopia of colour, greenery and bustling market stalls. Visitors are treated to the thrill of live music and the scent of exotic foods which excite the whole town, from the Promenade to beautiful Penlee Park, along Causeway Head, Market Jew Street and historic Chapel Street.

The week culminates at the weekend with Mazey Day and Quay Fair Day which can trace its history back to the 12th century.
