Our indoor swimming pool is open on strictly reduced capacity (of around 15 people at anyone time). All guests will also be required to book their slot in the pool online in advance to avoid any issues regarding numbers (and also to avoid any disappointment).

The clubhouse is at the centre of our holiday park and is just yards from all our self-catering accommodation.

Our holiday park with swimming pool is perfect for kids and adults alike and the ideal place for some family fun! With shallow and deeper areas, there’s plenty of room in the pool for kids and adults alike. There’s also a separate, small children’s pool. And, if you’re in the mood to unwind after a hard day exploring Cornwall, then why not visit our sauna?

Please note: Swimming sessions can only be booked online, not via the office or walk-ins. For holiday makers you will be issued a passcode on check in.

Away from the pool, there is a range of sporting activities on site. Be sure to pack your tennis rackets, as our tennis courts are the place to test out your skills! Or if you see yourself as the next Rory McIlroy then put your golfing prowess to the test on our putting green. And, to help the kids burn off all that excess energy, there is even a small play area.

What leisure facilities and activities are nearby?

We are proud of our Cornwall holiday park leisure facilities but there is so much to see and do close to our site. Penzance is less than 2 miles away and there is so much to do around the Cornish coast. Here are our top 5 leisure activities you should consider when staying at Kenegie Manor…

1. Surfing and bodyboarding: Kenegie Manor is a short drive to the beach and with clear blue waters on your doorstep you’d be mad not to give surfing a try! The closest beach to Kenegie Manor is Long Rock and with it’s long shallow beach and gentle wave is the ideal place for bodyboarding. Down the coast are the beaches of Sennen, Gwenver and Porthmeor at St Ives, which are renowned surfing beaches. Further north is the iconic Fistral Beach in Newquay, regarded as one of the top surfing beaches in the UK.
2. Kayaking, canoeing and windsurfing: There are several sailing clubs in the Mount’s Bay area that offer beginner’s courses throughout the summer season. West Cornwall’s winds and waves mean whether you’re kayaking or windsurfing you’re sure to have a great time out on the water.
3. Fishing: Whether you fancy a spot of sea fishing from a charter boat or the shoreline, coarse fishing from one of the many ponds or rock fishing from one of the many coves or cliff tops, there’s something for all fishing enthusiasts nearby.
4. Golf: Cornwall is the place for a golfing holiday, with some excellent courses across the county. West Cornwall is also blessed with some top class links and parkland courses nearby, perfect for testing out your game!
5. Take a boat trip: Discover Cornwall’s magical marine environment with a boat trip out to sea. Some charters offer scuba diving, where you can get up close and personal with this underwater world

I’ve just spent an absolutely fabulous and very relaxing 3 weeks here. I stayed in a Barn Conversion, which exceeded all expectations.

A brand new kitchen had been fitted, with a dishwasher, that was a nice surprise. Also there was a shower and a bath, I was only expecting a shower, so happy to find this. The 2 settees looked new, as did the large TV.

Overall the barn was lovely. I was not overlooked and the double doors were great to open wide and let the sun in. It was so peaceful and relaxed.

Due to Covid restrictions not lifting until my final week, I used the Old Forge on site food delivery service. This was easy to use with quick service and food of good quality. The fishburger was excellent along with the chocolate brownie.

I ate in the Old Forge once restrictions lifted. This has had a complete renovation and wow, it looks brilliant with personable and capable staff.

However, a special mention has to be made of the fish and chips. Oh my goodness, I was blown away with the quality of this. I’m a massive fish and chips fan, and I can honestly say that this was the best one I’ve ever been served. The batter and the homemade tartare sauce were excellent and a huge credit to the chef.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, as did my family and the dog. It was an ideal base for South West Cornwall.
