A sigh of relief can be breathed over Kenegie now Easter is out of the way!
What a fantastic weekend though – and great fun ! – it was lovely to see so many guests and locals enjoy our free Easter Egg hunt around the site and it allowed the kids to burn off some energy!
It was lovely to see so many guests and locals enjoy our Roast Dinners. The slightly longer wait than usual was worthwhile.
Now as we go into shoulder period until mid May 2022 and the weather is a bit brighter , we can get out on grounds, weather permitting, and get those little “good housekeeping” jobs tidied up.
As said previously, Simon will be returning shortly part-time to assist Mark. This week we have had a lovely selection of bedding plants delivered by Trevenna Cross to site and we are looking forward to getting the hanging baskets delivered soon. We will allow them to rest for a bit before planting around the site.
We have taken a wander around site this week and in Old Court, while the front of units are looking tidy, we have noticed the reverse of some properties have become a of dumping ground for some owners with things like shower screens, kitchen carcases etc. I trust these will be removed shortly ? Thanks. ! Andy will reach out to these owners directly shorty.
We are also pleased to announce that all facilities from Saturday 23rd April 2022 will be available (excluding the coffee shop) in the Swimming Pool area. Pool sessions are still to be booked on-line as usual.
This week, we have spoken to Bryhers Boys our local Cornish Choir are are delighted and privileged t to be hosting them again outside in July and August this year – Cornish weather permitting. If you have not seen them, the acoustics and the sound that bounces off the Manor walls is haunting ! This is their 6th Season at Kenegie and hopefully many more to come!
Roll on Summer…. we are all so lucky to have a holiday home in a glorious part of the country!
Have a great weekend.
Stay safe , stay sane and keep smiling!
